MCF Classifier awarded funding
We are delighted to announce that MCF Classifier has been awarded £730K funding from the Accelerated Access Collaborative through SBRI Healthcare.
MCF Classifier is a suite of data and support tools, designed and built by YewMaker that provides carbon emissions information for medicines, at scale, within a practical, user-friendly 'Triple-C' framework that integrates clinical, cost, and carbon effectiveness information to support carbon-informed medicines use.
We will be sharing much more about MCF Classifier this year, including use cases, publications and presentations. We anticipate the first MCF Classifier products will be available in 2024.
We are privileged to be collaborating with many individuals and organisations on this work, including the AHSN, NHS England North West, University Hospital Plymouth NHS Trust, The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals, and Pharmacy Declares.
MCF Classifier was one of 18 projects funded in this round. You can read about them all here.
