CPI joins the Sustainable Medicines Partnership
YewMaker, the executive lead of the Sustainable Medicines Partnership (SMP), is announcing that CPI has joined as a founding Collaborator.
The SMP is a not-for-profit private-public collaboration executing projects to make the use of medicines more sustainable and less wasteful.
CPI accelerates the development, scale-up and commercialisation of deep tech and sustainable manufacturing solutions, including next-generation medicine manufacturing innovations, offering world-leading facilities and expertise in small molecules, biologics, and complex medicines.
Home to the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre in Renfrewshire, Scotland, CPI is creating agile, efficient, and sustainable supply chains by convening actors across the pharma industry ecosystem in a pre-competitive space and boosting adoption of industry 4.0 digitisation.
In its collaboration with the SMP, the CPI-led Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre will help the global pharma ecosystem adopt novel technologies and processes to improve the sustainability of medicines, their manufacturing and associated supply chains.
